The Connected Experience

New research reveals why print, digital and CRM are converging

RR Donnelly surveyed 541 U.S.-based marketing professionals across a range of industries who play a role in marketing decision-making. The goal was to understand what marketers believe will drive business impact in 2025 and how they plan to strengthen customer relationships in a rapidly evolving market.

According to The 2025 Marketing Priorities Report, 82% of marketers say integrated digital and physical touchpoints are important to their marketing success. This reinforces the idea that print works best when it complements digital channels rather than competes with them.

Omnichannel Matters

80% of marketers view seamless omnichannel strategies as vital to customer engagement and loyalty. Today’s buyers expect brands to connect experiences across print, web, mobile, and in-person interactions.

Loyalty Over Acquisition

80% of marketers identified CRM programs as a top investment priority for 2025. Retaining and growing existing customers continues to outperform pure acquisition strategies.

Proof Sells

75% of marketers are increasing investment in case studies, testimonials, and product reviews. Authentic customer voices remain among the most trusted forms of content.

The Power of Partnerships

48% of marketers say it is difficult to keep pace with the speed of change. As technology evolves rapidly, organizations increasingly rely on strategic partners rather than simply managing vendors.
